Hello I’m Jennifer and I’m a portrait photographer.

Jennifer Baker Photographix is a home based studio, focusing mainly on contemporary portraiture and fine art graphics. I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography.

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved photography.

In my quiet times as a young person you would always find me doing something with my hands, sketching on drawing paper, playing music, or heading out with my little camera on a new adventure.

I am passionate about what I do, and I try to reflect who I am and what my passions are by the images I photograph.

If I have to pick one genre I would choose portraiture as the one that I am most passionate about. To me there is almost nothing more intriguing than the human face; each one has a story to tell.

Not restricted to one genre alone, I am passionate about photography as a whole.

As an ongoing project I am building a portfolio of images that span a variety of photographic genres, derived from years of life experience, travel and “just” clicking the shutter button. My website in is in the developing stages.
