Myrna considers herself a beginner photographer. It has only been 18 months since she took her first DSLR out of the box. With a background in music, accompanying, conducting, recording, producing, and doing live sound, photography is a very different direction with a fairly steep learning curve for her as she had no experience beyond point-and-shoot cameras.
Her two main goals are to be able to use her own pictures in her slideshows and to record how her family is expanding. She is excited about capturing special family moments that can be relived over and over again. The type of photography she enjoys most is candid utilizing natural light exclusively. Myrna does not consider herself skilled in post processing (she is trying to climb the steep learning curve of Photoshop CC). All images Myrna is sharing here are SOOC (straight out of the camera).
Myrna really enjoys the camera club, learning about different genres of photography, and taking a stab at whatever is on the menu for any particular outing.
Thank you Myrna for providing us with your personal story and how you are embracing photography and learning. Keep making those great images – your candid child images are precious!
Myrna is currently on the Moose Jaw Camera Club executive.
