You are invited! Gather friends and family and join us for a celebration of achievement on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015  at Carol’s Catering and Cafe, 820 North Service Road, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 4N6 at 6 pm.

The Moose Jaw Camera Club and Group of Ten Photo Club from Assiniboia banded together to read and make photographs during the winter and spring. Read about the guidelines for participation here.

36 images expressing the essence of a book or poem were submitted for the Saskatchewan Festival of Word Authors Breakfast. This event took place at Mosaic Place on July 19th. Several members attended the breakfast to hang the photos. Officially it was not open to the public the Moose Jaw Camera Club approached Carol’s Catering and Cafe to see if we might be able to exhibit our work at her restaurant. Carol enthusiastically endorsed this suggestion. We secured her space as an official exhibition space and we are already planning topics to change the art work three times a year!

The photographs were hung during the afternoon of July 19th, and it is time to gather and celebrate the success of this joint venture. Come and see what members have created and are proud to share with the public. Come and drop by to see the photos or hang out with the executive over a bite to eat. Carol’s Catering and Cafe, features great home cooking. Treat yourselves!

Hope to see you all there!
