It’s that time of the year: We reconnect with with friends and fellow camera club members.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 3rd, 2015. The executive has secured a coveted spot in our corner of the world for the World Wide PhotoWalk organized by Scott Kelby. For details and to register please click on this link . The group is limited to 50 participants only. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Why wait – do it today!
This will be the third time that club members are banding together to participate. In 2013 we had close to 20 photography enthusiasts come out and explore the downtown area of Moose Jaw. Last year the group that gathered was smaller. Photographers explored the Wakamow Valley. For 2015 we proposed Buffalo Pound Provincial Park which was approved just two days ago.
The event is open to anyone interested, including family members and friends of club members as well as the general public. Register each member individually, please! A family of four participating will take four (4) spaces. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Participants have the opportunity to upload images captured on October during the walk to the official site. This makes everyone eligible to win prizes! Here is a link to the prize page (check back often for updates).
The World Wide Photo Walk is a FREE event! Let’s make this a great outing – we will meet rain or shine. We gather near the Buffalo Paddock Parking Lot in the picnic shelter at 3:30 pm. Sunset is at 6:30 pm. We plan to meet up at Carol’s Catering & Cafe after 6:30 pm to debrief and maybe get a bite to eat while we exchange experiences and catch a glimpse of images on fellow photo walk participants’ LED screens on the cameras. Can’t wait to see everyone!
