MOOSE JAW CAMERA CLUB

December Meeting Reminder!

A Blade in the Wind_The meeting on December 7th is packed with activities.

Here is a pre-view of what you can expect if you plan to attend:

  1. Bring your camera, tripod and fastest lens! Vaughn and Rob are busy planning a short presentation and hands on activity on low light photography. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about camera settings and specific factors to consider when making images during the darker time of the year.
  2. Find out more about the Saskatchewan Festival of Words. in 2015 the Moose Jaw Camera Club and Group of Ten joined forces to create images around books (novels and poems) by authors at the Festival of Words. The members of the executive are busy planning the 2016 event, and we look forward to our members’ participation. The preliminary list of authors will be announced at the upcoming meeting.
  3. We will be sharing the images selected for the P. R. P. A. Everest Competition. At that time a brief presentation on what to consider when entering digital and print competitions will also be discussed.
  4. Mark your calendars for the Annual Christmas Twinkle Tour on Wednesday, December 16th. Details will be shared at the meeting.
  5. Call for entry to participate in the upcoming print exhibition at Carol’s Catering and Cafe. The theme is “Macro”. Details will be shared at the meeting.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on December 7th @ 7 pm!
