Monday, June 6th is the last general meeting before we break for the summer. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm (please note this is 30 minutes earlier than other meetings). Everyone attending is asked to bring along a contribution for the pot luck.
A brief, regular meeting with announcements will follow. The theme for images to bring is “Transitions”. (Having trouble with the theme? Think seasonal transitions, winter to spring, spring to summer, a tree leafing out is undergoing a transition, flowers emerging from a garden bed are experiencing a transition, a house under renovation is a transition, a caterpillar undergoes a transition to become a butterfly… Now put on your thinking cap and think outside the box!) This is your time to be creative!! The sunset at the top of this post is a transition…
We also ask all of you who attended the Round Barn Outing to bring one 5 x 7 print. An anonymous vote will determine People’s Choice. The winning image will be printed and framed to be presented as a thank you gift to the Sandborne Family for hosting the club during the May outing. Let’s make a strong effort and bring one print, please!
Once the meeting and potluck are concluded members will engage in a photographic treasure hunt in Crescent Park. Please bring your camera with your favourite all-purpose lens to participate. We will divide into groups and receive instructions from “Treasure Hunt Master” Vaughn. We haven’t had a treasure hunt in while and Vaughn always knows how to engage the members… get ready for a great time!
Check the Outings and Field Trips Page for summer outing destinations and dates. The executive has selected some exciting outings for the summer to keep the photo fun going! Meanwhile:

Last but not least: The Moose Jaw Camera Club is looking to fill the position of Vice-President for the 2016/2017 club year. Give some thought to stepping up to the executive. This is YOUR club… and the position of Vice-President is for one year moving into the position of President for one year. Vice-President is the position with the least responsibilities throughout the year. The Vice-President works closely with the President to ensure an easy transition. Email Anna <firstname.lastname@example.org> if you have questions or are interested in the position.
