Spreading the Love for our Favourite Camera Club…
While away on business in Ontario I received the following information from Gwen McNichol, P. R. P. A. Competition Chair:
.”..Moose Jaw won the Gerry Fish Club Competition again. (This is the second year in a row that we took this coveted trophy! Well done everyone! I am so very proud of you, your skill and commitment to the Moose Jaw Camera Club!)
Rob Harden won Best Landscape, Jennifer Baker won Best Portrait, Jess Zoerb won Best Candid Child and Jerry Stevens won Best Nature and Best of Show. So, well done Moose Jaw!
In Sports in Action, Rob Harden won 1st with My Butterfly and Honourable Mention with Beep-Beep, Catch Me If You Can.
Anna Hergert won First in Hand of Man with Prairie Sentinel. Hand of Man had 65 entries so it was a tough competition to win 1st in. Vaughn Taylor won Third in Hand of Man with Point Of No Return.
Rob Harden won Honourable Mention in Fall Digital with his entry Morning Splendor.
Anna Hergert won First in Landscape for the 2015 Outing Competition with View from the Weir.
Well done to all of your club.”
I second Gwen’s last comment. Congratulations! Well done everyone – let’s use this positive energy to move forward into the new club year. I can’t wait to see what we do next! Just remember to carry your camera and make those images – you never know when you find an opportunity to enter…
Way to go, Club! I would love to see a slideshow of the winning images from our club.

Jess, not all the images were in digital format – but we can organize a showing of the winning prints at the September meeting!
