December Meeting Recap

A_HergertDecember is a busy time. With a change of meeting date that was completely out of our hands and the ubiquitous pre-Chrismas cold circulating there will be some members who have missed tonight’s meeting.

Annual Twinkle Tour: Dec. 14th, meet at 6:30 pm in the Tim Horton’s Parking lot near the HWY. Carpooling suggested.

Rule of Thirds submissions due January 2nd, 2017 – details are found here

Intro to Digital Photography – January 28th. Registration and payment mandatory, limit 6 participants

Photoshop Session at Rob’s – Session 3 on January 21, 2017, 12:30 – 3:30 pm, $ 10 (pre-registration required)

PRPA Retreat – June 9 -11, 2017 in Canmore – Details here

MJCC Retreat July 28 – 30th, 2016 at Wood Mountain, options for camping and cabins, Info for workshop instructor has been received. Instructor: Brian Easton, Theme: Natural Light and one flash Portraits. More details to follow in early 2017.

SK Festival of Words: The website has the latest list of authors. Scroll down to see the author list to date! We are currently narrowing down a date for an informal meeting and information session for those who would like to participate next July.
