With the holidays wrapping up it’s time to look ahead to a New Year. 2017 promises to be great! The club’s executive is looking forward to new activities starting with the first meeting of the new year tomorrow night, January 2nd , 2017.
To participate in the “Rule of Thirds” exhibition please remember to bring one image on a USB drive. Ensure it was saved at 300 to 360 dpi. Deliver your USB drive to Rob Harden and Colin Hergert accompanied by $ 25 for the printing cost. Additional information can be found on the “Upcoming Exhibitions” page on this blog (directory in the upper right hand corner of this site)
The theme of the month “facial expressions” and hould bring in many contributions after a week of family gatherings, gift opening, surprises and many great meals around a lively table. Please bring up to 3 images on a USB drive and hand it to Vaughn as you arrive so he can organize a folder for sharing.
Anyone signed up for workshops in January please remember to bring payment (cash or cheque) to secure your spot in a workshop. If payment is not received your spot will be offered to those on the waiting list.
Kelly Wiens will be presenting about how he captures “Birds in Winter”, a talk nobody wants to miss out on.
Our hands on activity about shooting macro will require your tripod, camera, macro lens and a remote shutter release (if you have one).
See you all tomorrow at 7 pm! Have a friend who is into photography and not a member yet? Bring them along!
