Ready for spring? Soon the snow is a thing of the past – the month is quickly approaching the date that marks the first day of spring… But before that we have a couple of exciting things for Moose Jaw Camera Club members:
Ready to hang out with like minded camera users on a social level?
Special interest groups Nikon, Canon, Pentax and point and shoot/smartphones: The executive identified a need for once a month casual meetings to discuss cameras, settings and general photographic interests to better understand one’s camera.
The first gathering is set for Sunday, March 19th – 2- 4 pm.
Canon @ Common Cafe
Nikon & Pentax @ Mitsu Japanese Inspired Cafe
Point-and-Shoot/Bridge models/smart phones @ Crysalis Coffeehouse
Keeping these gatherings in close proximity along Main Street North will enable club members to visit back and forth and drop in on other groups.
There is no formal agenda and no designated leader for the groups. This is strictly member driven.
The final deadlines for Gerry Fish entries (a club competition we have won twice in 2015 & 2016) is on Monday! PRPA Spring Competitions: Please refer to the post on competitions here. Gerry Fish prints must be dropped off at Rob Harden’s place. Deadline March 20th. Please contact Rob for a time to drop off images. <firstname.lastname@example.org>
And last but not least: March 25th is our annual light painting outing from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Hot chocolate, coffee and donuts will be available for refreshments. Please let Myrna know if you are planning to attend so we can plan accordingly. <email@example.com>
