The Club’s Programme Committee is working diligently to stay focused and organized. The 2016/17 themes for exhibitions have been selected and we hope that by posting them here you are able to plan your participation better.
The Moose Jaw Camera Club is organizing three exhibitions per year and your participation is requested! We cannot do this without our talented and creative members.
Carol’s Catering & Cafe continues to provide our club with a space where we can showcase members’ work throughout the year. the purchase of frames and devising a safe hanging option that will make changing the shows more time efficient also makes the exhibitions more professional in their presentation.
Here are the general rules for submission: Members may submit up to 2 of their best images (16″ x 24″ or 24″ x 16″ at 360 dpi). Please ensure the images submitted are sharp and in focus and print ready. Depending on the number of entries one image will be selected (if interest is low, both images may be considered). Payment of $ 25 MUST accompany the USB drive with image(s) or it will not be included in the selection process. There is room for 24 – 26 images without crowding. If entry participation is above 26 a selection committee will be struck and entries anonymously selected.
IMPORTANT: Please include a statement for the piece. A handwritten note is fine. Please add your name and whether the image is for sale or not for sale. Thank you.
Rob Harden will be accepting the entries in person only. Please make sure you connect with him and get your name added to the exhibition list. You will need to provide a title for each submitted image.
